Please Note: the performance of the scent diffusers and scent fragrances can be affected by different factors. Some factors include: ambient odors in homes, square footage of rooms, ceiling height, room layout, etc. Not all scent fragrances will perform the same. It may take some adjusting of the scent diffuser to get the fragrance to lay in your room properly.

 FAQ’s/Important Information:

Some scents are stronger than others which may affect the performance of your scent machine as well as any odors in your space you are wanting to scent.

The general amount of scent usage per month: if you run the scent machine from 7:00am to 9:00pm everyday on scent level 5, you will use a 16oz bottle of scent every 29 days. Some people program their scent machines to turn on in the morning for a few hours and again in the evening when they return home. If you do this, a 16oz. bottle of scent could last 2 months.

The scent machine comes preprogrammed to turn ON at 7:00am and turn OFF at 9:00pm every day. You can change the program to have the scent machine come ON and OFF up to 3 different times a day.

The scent machine clock is set in military time.

When connecting the CB 250 Scent machine to your HVAC system you must unscrew the silver nozzle on top of the scent machine and screw in the blue nozzle that accepts the Scent hose. See picture.

When installing the scent machine to your HVAC, you will need to drill a ¾ inch hole into the Supply Air Duct. Attach your scent hose to the machine then stick the scent hose from the scent machine into the Supply Air duct a few inches.

If you furnish your own scent hose it cannot be any longer than 18”. The scent hose that comes with the machine is approx. 12” long.

Make sure you set your home thermostat fan setting to ON and not auto. You need air moving through the duct at all times when the scent machine is operating.

When filling the bottle inside of the scent machine, make sure you fill the bottle up about 85%. If you fill the scent bottle to the very top of the bottle, the scent machine will make a gurgling noise and will not disburse the scent.

After filling your scent bottle, make sure that the unit is flush with the lip of the reinserted difusser housing and bottle, See picture.

Sometimes if the scent machine is running but not spraying, the hose located in the scent bottle could be clogged but this happens very seldom. Try running rubbing alcohol through the scent machine. Or you can purchase a replacement diffuser straw for the bottle.

When changing from one scent to another scent, you need to wash the scent bottle out with rubbing alcohol.

Keep all bottles of scent out of reach from children.

Trouble Shooting

Try to diagnose the problem by following the instructions.

1. Check if the power is on or off by flipping the switch in the side of the unit.
2. Ensure the diffuser head is seated flush with the edge of the unit. The diffuser head must be pressed down completely and flush to make proper air connection.
3. Again, flip the switch on the side of the machine OFF and back ON and see if the mist emits by holding your phone light to the top of the diffuser. If mist is emitting, the scent machine is running properly.
4. Remove the diffuser head and you will see an air-port inside of the unit on the right hand side facing the unit. See if the air-port is emitting air. If you feel the air and do not see the mist in step 3, then the diffuser head is likely clogged.
5. Reset the machine by holding the ENT button until you hear a beep. This will reset the machine back to its original settings and fixes any programming issues. (This step must be done as this usually solves the problem if it is not a clog).
6. When filling the scent bottle, we recommend filling it up about 80-90% full. At times, when the bottle is overfilled or filled to the top, the machine will gurgle as it cannot force air through the diffuser to pull the scent through the straw.
7. At times, the straw within the diffuser can get clogged with debris. Remove the scent from the bottle and fill with rubbing alcohol. Run the unit for about 10 minutes to break free the clog/debris. Remove the alcohol and rinse thoroughly with water. Repeat again by running the unit with water in the bottle.
